Clarion Collection® Hotel Uppsala

The hotel is OK but feels a little small. Central location close to the train station. The room was small and clean with a comfortable bed. Dinner OK, lovely generous breakfast. We brought our dog with us and had to sit in a special area for dogs which was located in the conferance area which meant some walking to reach it. Friendly staff. The parkingplace and the fee for bringing our dog were a little too expensive compared to other hotels where we have stayed.

I spent a night here with a friend and chose the hotel because it was close to the train station. Afternoon "snack" with tea/coffee/hot cocoa and dinner is included in the prize (and breakfast of course!) but we did not try dinner. The afternoon snack was very small so my recommendation is to not be very hungry at the time of check in (if you arrive in the afternoon). Breakfast was good, sleep quality good considering it's very downtown, also very comfy bed. There's a water boiler with tea/coffee/hot cocoa in the room. We had a room on the top floor (requested my me) and we didn't experience it being too hot since the windows were openable.

What a fantastic hotel! My stay was quiet and so comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly, they create a real family feel. The hotel serves breakfast and dinner included in the price with the dinner being home style cooking for the main meal with lovely selection of salads and a daily soup. Fika (afternoon tea) is also included and the Happy Hour (8.30-9.30) makes alcohol in Sweden a little more affordable. Simple but comfortable rooms made sleeping easy - this little gem had everything I needed!

The hotel is located near Uppsala train station. It's just 5 min walk. The Uppsala castle and cathedral is around 2 km from the hotel. Room is quite large, clean and comfortable. It's equipped with sofa, working desk, wardrop in the room. Bathroom with shower is large. Only liquid soap/ shampoo and hand soap are provided in the room. Breakfast is served on the lobby floor. The food is varieties both hot and cold dish. Dinner is also served in the same restaurant. It's all you can eat soup, baked beef steak with a lot of bread and salad. Taste is very good. Staffs are really good. They are kind and helpful.

Large room with both bathtub and shower, dinner buffet included, sauna with generous opening hours, good breakfast, great location next to the central station, friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom could use some refreshing and the view consisted of an office building across the street. Still, with so much included for the low price we had an amazing stay.
